Deadlock Patron Explained
In Deadlock, the Patron is the final boss you need to defeat in order to win a match. Obviously, the journey to get there isn’t easy, as you will encounter lane bosses like Walkers and Guardians, all while the other team is fighting to get to your Patron. So, here is everything you need to know about the Patron in Deadlock.
What Is a Patron?
In order to win in Deadlock, you need to destroy the enemy Patron at the end of the map. But to do it, you must first go through some lane bosses and structures. These are, in order, are Guardians, Walkers, Elder/Base Guardians, and the Shrines.
Once you defeat the Base Guardians, you will step into the enemy base. In the base, there are two structures called shrines; you must destroy them to weaken the Patron. The shrines are located at the far end of each corner in the base, and in the center will be the Patron.
Once you destroy the Shrines, the Patron is exposed and can be damaged. The next step is simply to unload your guns, abilities, and everything you have on the Patron and destroy it. Once you do, you can celebrate as you have won the match.
Defeating the Patron
The Patron itself isn’t a very hard boss to defeat. However, the enemy team will obviously not let you do this without a challenge. Since the Patron is so close to the enemy base, you will get wave after wave of enemy heroes trying to protect their Patron. Focus on dealing with those enemies (respawn times can be quite long towards the end of a match) and then make a push for the Patron.

Conclusion
The Patron is a relatively simple thing to destroy compared to the other lane bosses and structures. Destroying the Patron itself isn’t hard; it’s getting to that point that Deadlock’s all about. If you have the right strategies, play well with your team, and push at the right times, you’ll be delivering the final blow to the enemy Patron with ease.
