Customization

VALORANT allows for some rather deep crosshair customization, and if you’re serious about climbing the ranked ladder you’ll want to make sure that you have a crosshair that matches your personal playing style. If you’re completely new to VALORANT, you may want to check out our Best VALORANT Crosshair Codes article or our Best VALORANT Crosshair article, where we also explore what makes a VALORANT crosshair good, but if you just want to check out how a certain crosshair would look in the game then you can use our configurator, which has all of the values that you can also find in the game.

What makes a VALORANT crosshair good?

In general, you’ll want to have a crosshair that’s visible at all times. Going for a small, beige crosshair isn’t a great idea, for instance, because it will blend in with the background on most of the maps. There’s a reason that neon green and cyan are crosshair colors that have been used by pro players for over a decade now. You also don’t want to use a crosshair that’s too big to the point where it obscures enemies in the distance or hides valuable information, so make sure to not go too big.

Once you’ve got all of the visibility boxes checked, a VALORANT crosshair is something personal. Some people love to use a dot because it tends to help with precision, while others go for the tried and tested 4 lines crosshair because that’s (generally speaking) easier to find in a hectic battle, so which crosshair you want to use will depend on your personal preferences and your playing style. Thanks to our VALORANT crosshair configurator you can experiment with all of the different values even when you’re not near your gaming PC and then simply test it out once you get back to your battlestation.
