What makes a mouse good for PUBG?
PUBG is, as far as Battle Royale games go, one of the most straightforward games of the bunch. It’s first person, doesn’t feature any abilities or other wacky stuff, movement is pretty realistic, … Because of the fact that you can’t build or fly your way out of trouble, your aim is going to be one of the most significant factors in winning fights, and as a result of that you’ll need a solid, dependable mouse which doesn’t necessarily need too many extra frills.
We recommend to go for a reliable, well built mouse with a good sensor and, most importantly, a nice and comfortable feeling in your hand. There’s no need to go for anything super complicated for this game. The professionals seem to agree with that, with most of these mice featuring little to no extra buttons or other special functions.

Logitech G Pro X Superlight

Being the successor the massively loved and lauded Logitech G Pro Wireless, the G Pro X Superlight had a lot to live up to, and that it did. With a weight of just 62 grams it would be light even for a wired model, but considering the fact that this is a rechargeable wireless mouse (with no holes in the shell) that came out in November of 2021 this weight is nothing less than extremely impressive. The weight isn’t the only thing that had been changed between the Pro X Superlight and the Pro Wireless though. The Superlight also has better stock feet and upgraded clicks.
Something that stayed the same was the shape. Given the adoption rates of the G Pro Wireless, Logitech made the wise decision to use the exact same shape. What you’re getting here is an extremely safe shape that can comfortably be used by just about any grip type and hand size, making this mouse an ideal choice for people who aren’t quite sure what they want when it comes to mouse designs.

Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2

The Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 is the successor to one of the most popular mice in competitive gaming, the Logitech G Pro X Superlight. The Superlight 2 aims to build on the shortcomings of the predecessor and offer you a mouse perfect for PUBG and gaming in general.
Let us start with the specs: the Superlight 2 has the Hero 25K Sensor, a 4K Hz polling rate, and optical button switches. The mouse is also lightweight, weighing in at 59 g, which is 3g lighter than the previous version. The sensor (the original GPX has a max polling rate of 1000Hz) and switches are the most eye-catching changes between this and the first Superlight, so if those aren’t enough to interest you you can definitely still go for the original Superlight.
The performance on Logitech’s flagship mice has always been top notch and this hasn’t changed with the GPX 2. So, whether you are in a close-range battle in Pochinki, or looking for a sniper kill, this mouse will keep up.
What sets the Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 apart from its competitors is the shape. Logitech has designed this mouse in such a way that it fits all types of grips. It’s a “one size fits all” kind of mouse. This makes it a mouse that can be used by anyone without any issues, but it’s very neutral shape isn’t ideal for gamers who are looking for something more specialized.
In short, for anyone looking for a comfortable and high-end gaming mouse, check out the Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2.

Used by 4 PUBG players ()Logitech played it safe with the Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2, but that’s understandable. Pros
- Super safe shape that’ll fit anyone
- Nice coating

Cons

Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro

The Deathadder V3 Pro aims to build on the legacy of the original Deathadder. It offers better specs, faster performance, and a more ergonomic shape.
The most obvious difference between this and predecessors is the weight and shape of the mouse. The V3 is boxier and lighter, coming in at 63g. The long and flat-feeling shape of the older DeathAdder mice has been replaced by a more compact version, and this is a change that seems to sit well with a lot of gamers.
Under the hood, the Deathadder V3 Pro runs the Focus 30K Pro Sensor, Gen-2 optical switches, and a wireless polling rate of 4K Hz (upgradeable to 8K Hz with the HyperPolling dongle). The Focus 30K Pro sensor has received more than positive reviews and is one of the most accurate and swift sensors for gaming, so the performance of the DAV3 Pro is up there with the best of the best.
In short, the Deathadder V3 Pro is overall a great mouse for PUBG.

Logitech G Pro Wireless

When the G Pro Wireless was released, it took the gaming world by storm. Being the first competition-grade mouse with a flawless sensor, a flawless wireless connection, and a rechargeable battery, it didn’t take long for pretty much the entire world of gaming to take notice.
The G Pro Wireless became the most used mouse across all of our analyzed games combined with relative ease, a position that it stayed at until it was replaced by its successor, the G Pro X Superlight. That one is lighter, has switches that are less error-prone, and better stock feet. Those aren’t massive differences, so the G Pro Wireless is still a valid option today, years after its release.
If you like what you’re reading about the Superlight’s shape and design philosophy but you don’t want to spend the money on it and/or you don’t have an issue with heavier mice then the G Pro Wireless could be just the product for you, even though it’s very much an older mouse at this point in time.
Logitech G Pro Wireless
Used by 7 PUBG players ()Logitech has set out to create the ultimate gaming mouse with the G Pro Wireless, and as far as I’m concerned they have succeeded in that task. It’s without a doubt one of the most hyped up releases of the past few years, and for good reason too.

Logitech G703

The Logitech G703 is a mouse that’s well-liked and used across a variety of our analyzed games, but it has seen a particular amount of love coming from the PUBG community over the past couple of years. This mouse is the wireless version of the older G403.
The G703 has an ergonomic shape which seems to be hit or miss for a lot of people. It’s got a rather pronounced hump to it which doesn’t really sit well with some people, but if you like this sort of palm filling feeling with an ergonomic mouse the G703 is going to serve you really nicely.
Older versions of the G703 had the 3366 sensor (instead of the HERO) in them, but those have all but been phased out. Should you encounter one for sale you could definitely still go for it, though. The G3366 is an older sensor, in the sense that it’s the baseline upon which Logitech has built their HERO sensor, but it is also a flawless sensor, so you will always have a flawless performance no matter which one you get.
If you’re looking to go wireless but you want a bit more heft and shape to your mouse this could be it. The G703 weighs in at around 100 grams (but can feel lighter due to the fact that it’s wireless) but if you can get past that you’re getting a unique ergonomic shape powered by Logitech’s flawless wireless technology.
Logitech G703
Used by 2 PUBG players ()If you can (quite literally) get over the rather awkward hump this is gonna be a great mouse for just about anyone. The G703 is a top tier wireless mouse, featuring a flawless sensor, perfect wireless connection, and some of the best buttons in the business.

ZOWIE FK2

The FK2 is an older mouse that’s not available anymore, so we will give some general pointers on the FK line in this entry. We would recommend newer version of the FK2 if you are interested in this mouse. If you want to know about the differences between different ZOWIE FK versions, feel free to check out our article on that.
Sometimes, less is more and simplicity is key, and the ZOWIE FK line is a perfect example of that. It has been around for years and aside from some updates in order to keep it up to date with going market standards, it’s essentially the same mouse. It’s a neutral, ambidextrous shape, but it’s done so well that it’s almost impossible to not like the mouse. Sure, it might not be the ideal fit for you, but the mouse is made so that almost anyone can find a grip that they like, and that plays a major part in the success of this mouse.

Razer Viper V3 Pro

The Viper V3 Pro is the successor to the V2 Pro. The most notable difference between the V3 and the V2 models is the updated shape. The V2’s flatter, longer design has been replaced by a more pronounced palm-hugging hump on the V3 Pro, making it feel more compact overall. This shift results in a safer, more comfortable fit for a broader range of users.
Housed in a lightweight 54 gram shell, the Viper V3 Pro strikes the balance that Razer claims is ideal for professional gamers. It also includes quality-of-life improvements, such as the ability to enable higher polling rates only during gameplay, which extends the battery life.
In addition to the safer shape, the Viper V3 Pro also houses top tier components. With wireless polling rates reaching up to 8000Hz, optical switches, and Razer’s Focus Pro 35K sensor, it’s one of the strongest releases of 2024.

ZOWIE EC2-A

The EC2-A is an older mouse that’s not available anymore. In this entry, we’ll give some general information about the ZOWIE EC line. If you’re interested in the differences between different ZOWIE EC versions, feel free to check out our article on that.
The Zowie EC series was designed for first person shooters, and in particular for Counter-Strike. The ‘EC’ in the name stands for ‘Emil Christensen,’ better known as HeatoN, former Ninjas in Pyjamas CS professional. Zowie teamed up with HeatoN to design the perfect CS mouse and they came up with the EC series of mice. The EC series might have been designed with CS in the back of the mind, but that of course doesn’t mean that you can only use the EC2 for Counter-Strike.
The EC line has gone through many different iterations. So many that it can be hard to see the forest for the trees with this particular mouse. For that reason we’ve outlined the differences between modern EC version in an article that you can browse in case you’re interested.
The EC family of mice have always been lauded as great gaming mice in general, and that’s in large part due to the fantastic ergonomic shape. A lot of brands have copied the ZOWIE EC over the years, but very few have succeeded in completely cloning this amazing shape, so if you want to try one of the most amazing ergonomic shapes in the business for yourself, you should try out the ZOWIE EC2.

ZOWIE FK1-B
The FK1-B is an older mouse that’s not available anymore, so we will give some general pointers on the FK line in this entry. We would recommend newer version of the FK1 if you are interested in this mouse. If you want to know about the differences between different ZOWIE FK versions, feel free to check out our article on that.
Along with the EC, the FK line is one of the brand’s most copied shapes. It’s an ambidextrous mouse with a flat hump that is ideal for people who want a very neutral mouse for gaming. There have been many iterations of the FK line over the years (some have obviously been better received than others) and it is still one of the more popular mice in the professional gaming scene due to its great build quality and no-nonsense, plug-and-play nature.

Best Mouse for PUBG – Conclusion
PUBG is a fairly simple game by design. You don’t have a lot of extra stuff to do besides walking or driving around and shooting other people. As such you don’t need a very heavily customizable or feature-rich mouse, and that’s reflected in the choices of our pros.
All of the mice in our top 5 are pretty standard ‘run of the mill’ gaming mice, in the sense that they don’t include extra buttons, switches, or useless (for PUBG) features.
As always, it’s important to take these sorts of lists with a grain of salt. What works for one person might not work for you. So take this list as a guideline, and feel free to experiment and look around elsewhere on our website. Finding the right mouse can be a very long and exhausting journey, but we hope this list has at least helped you a bit.
