NZXT Flex Introduces Subscription PCs
Today, NZXT announced the very first subscription PC service in the form of NZXT Flex. Users will be able to pay a monthly fee to have a full-specced gaming PC delivered to their door. The service is aimed at gamers who cannot afford full PC builds, but it can also be extremely handy for people who are away from home for a certain period of time.
Bryan de Zayas, NZXT’s Head of Marketing, has the following to say about the service: “At NZXT, we believe everyone should be able to play the games they love. In the past, that meant buying a pre-built PC or building your own. Our new Flex subscription service offers gamers more flexibility and choice, so they can focus on what really matters – playing the games they love.”
Three different tiers
NZXT will offer three different Flex subscriptions, based on their existing prebuilt PC platforms. Actual components may vary depending on availability, but roughly speaking there are three performance tiers: budget-oriented, mid tier, and finally a high end PC.
Player: One | Player: Two | Player: Three | |
CPU | Intel Core i5-12400F | AMD Ryzen 5 5600X | Intel Core i7-13700KF |
GPU | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Super | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super |
Case | NZXT H5 Flow | NZXT H5 Elite | NZXT H7 Flow |
Price per month | $59 | $119 | $169 |
With no cancellation fee and a month-to-month subscription model, gamers can try out the offerings in a risk-free manner.
As Philip B. -an NZXT Flex user- says: “I am debating a future build and this program potentially allows me to try out the gear for a minor cost. So far I am loving this machine and its running all my games great. I might still want to upgrade to the player 3 – just to get a sense of the next step up…see if its something I think is worth investing in when it comes time to purchase.“
With a lifetime warranty, 24/7 support, free upgrades every two years, and free returns, it’s also a hassle-free way of gaming for those who don’t want to commit to building their own PC.
Currently, the service is available in the 48 contiguous states of the United States. Not included are Alaska and Hawaii.
