On October 10 of 2024, NZXT announced the launch of their N9 Z890 and N7 Z890 Intel ATX motherboards.
The N9 Z890 is the top tier offering, which is meant for enthusiast PC builders who are looking to assemble a top-end Intel gaming rig. It is made with overclocking in the back of the mind, providing thermal headroom and other tools so that games can reliably overclock their CPUs.
The N7 Z890 is a refresh of the existing N7 line; balanced ATX motherboards that are aimed at the broader PC gaming market, offering plenty of power and stability to run an Intel setup without overclocking.
Both announced motherboards support the latest connectivity standards, which includes PCIe 5.0, Thunderbolt 4, Bluetooth 5.4 and Bluetooth 5.3 for the N7 Z890 and Wi-Fi 7 for the N9 Z890 and Wi-Fi 6E for the N7 Z890.
Both motherboards have newly designed metal covers for a sleek look. The top-end model, the N9 Z890, also features detailed RGB elements.
Johnny Hou, Founder and CEO of NZXT, has the following to say about the motherboards:
“We’ve been thrilled by the impact our motherboards have had within the community, which inspired us to revamp our line for Intel’s latest chipset, allowing us to continue pushing the boundaries of motherboard design and functionality. By focusing on performance and introducing fresh new looks, we’ve created two motherboards that are ideal for gamers looking to build PCs that fully leverage the power of the latest Intel Core Ultra CPUs.”
