Close, but he answered this on stream once.
If he uses a palm grip, his fingers are too long and they will slip over the edge of the mouse. He just bends them enough to make sure his fingertip is on the edge instead.
So, essentially a palm grip, but bend your fingers so they hit the edge. On claw crips you usually have your fingers really far up the mouse buttons, like almost in the middle or above.

I don’t think he’s essentially palm, as his palm doesn’t full touches the back of the mouse, just the bottom of his pinky and thumb touches the mouse, it is just back claw grip I think

Usually if there is any kind of arch. This is considered claw grip, even if the arch is very tiny. It doesn’t need to be pulled all the way back to be considered claw grip. Claw grips that don’t have too much arch are considered relaxed claw grips. It is only if your fingers is straightened out(the amount of contact doesn’t matter), it is palm grip.

it’s today bro… january 26, 2026… and no, there’s an option in cs2’s hud section where it says override spectating hud color where if it’s off, whatever hud color you have on your side, it’ll show the same color for ever player, but if it’s on, you can see their hud colors. try it for yourself if you don’t believe me.
Hey, just want to inform you that the “Override Hud Color”, is extremely broken in Demos.
An example would be this nuke game. Sh1nejezz was streaming it, and his hud color is not the color the demo shows.
And of course, you did not know this feature was broken, so I understand why you would point it out.
