Can anyone help me to understand why he would play on such low video settings on his pc? Thanks
prob more stable fps
Pros lower the settings on their games (even with extremely good PCs) so that they can get the highest framerates possible and to ensure that their framerates never drop too low. Playing a game with beautiful graphics that stutters when there’s a lot of action going on can lead to missing important shots, and since the pros depend on their performance it’s vastly more important to them to get great performance as opposed to having a beautiful looking game. In short: eye candy means nothing to professional players, it’s all about the performance. We have an article on framerates (which also details why it’s important to get your frames as high as possible even if you exceed your monitor’s refresh rate) here in case you want to read it!
