About

At ProSettings.net, we’re all passionate gamers. Although we come from diverse backgrounds and have different main games, our shared love for competitive gaming unites us. We don’t just write about gaming; we immerse ourselves in the world of gaming. We actively follow tournaments, engage on forums, and lurk on streams. We invest in skins, analyze patch notes, and dissect meta strategies. Gaming is more than just a hobby for us.

In 2016, brothers Kai and Max set out to transform their enthusiasm for competitive gaming into a tangible project. What initially began as a small website with only a database featuring gear and settings used by influential CS:GO players has since evolved into something much bigger. Today, ProSettings.net boasts in-depth gear guides, thorough reviews, a blogging section with interesting articles on all things surrounding our favorite games, and much more.

Vision and mission

Our vision is to become the ultimate, all-encompassing hub for competitive gamers and enthusiasts alike. While our thoroughly researched and verified data on pro player setups is one pillar of our vision, our reviews and guides are another part of this. Through our website, we seek to provide competitive gamers with all of the necessary resources to become the best players they can be and to reach their fullest potential. Our arsenal of handy tools, guides, and informative articles ensures that even the niche aspects of your favorite game are covered right here on ProSettings.net. In our vision, you don’t need any other resource.

Our mission is to be a genuine part of the gaming scene. We are not a group of corporate suits in a boardroom looking to cash in on the gaming hype; we are a small team of enthusiasts with a profound passion for gaming. With the support of our fantastic community, we strive to create the ultimate competitive gaming platform that’s always updated. This is why we have a dedicated team of community managers who have been diligently updating our player pages and guides for years.

When it comes to our guides and articles, we do not want to bury readers with endless spreadsheets of meaningless stats, nor do we want to throw out unsourced information. Our objective is to help the ‘common competitive gamer’ be the best they can be without any distractions, and our content is geared towards that.

We also like our fun, though. We know that gaming isn’t all about tryharding, so we also have articles on skins, emotes, and other fun stuff for those times when you simply want to unwind after a demanding gaming session.
